Summer Fun

Mr. Mister is making the most of the final weeks of summer. Here are some of the fun adventures he has had this past week:

Last Friday night, Aunt Na Na babysat him. They went to a carnival where Mr. Mister rode a merry-go-round and went down a big slide with his aunt. We're not really sure if he liked the merry-go-round, though, based on his expressionless face the entire time. Here are pictures of him in action - and she said his face never changed!

Then, on Monday, my mom graciously took him for a few hours so that Daddy and I could work on painting our room. They went to a park nearby where they played on the playground, fed ducks, and played at the kid's water park, which has a bunch of things that spray water everywhere. He loved it and then got to go out to lunch with grandma, too!

On Wednesday, Pey Pey came over, for the first time in a while due to our busy summer. While it was a tough day overall with Mr. Mister's tantrums and difficulty sharing toys, they did enjoy a little bit of time in our makeshift pool in the front yard.

And this picture pretty much represents their relationship!

Today we went to the zoo to meet a friend and her 1 year old son. It is so much fun now that Mr. Mister knows the animals and gets excited to see them. On the way to the zoo, he asked me to sit in the backseat with him. I said, "Well then who is going to drive us?" He thought about it and answered, "Monkeys!" It's fun to see him beginning to use his imagination!
