Today Mr. Mister pushed the straw of his juice box all the way into the box. He realized he couldn't get it out and didn't know what to do. I've been trying to encourage him to think through his own solutions rather than just solving it for him, so I said, "What do you think we can do to fix it?"
He looked at me as he thought and I could see the wheels spinning in his head. Then his eyes got bright and he said, "Mr. Mister get his tools!" And he ran and got his plastic screwdriver and wrench!
It made me laugh so hard. I love this process of him learning language.
